We’ve just officially launched the Collateral Damage web site! Welcome. Things are proceeding well with production, and I should have the next prototype soon.

The first prototypes have arrived from China and they look amazing! All the pieces are just as intended, from the tokens and cards to the custom plastic pieces. Everything is on track to launch in November, and we can’t wait. This is very exciting and gratifying to see.

There’s only one week left until Collateral Damage: The Anime Board Game officially launches! The first set of games have arrived, the banners are ready, the registration is set for Reactor, and we’re all excited! With a little luck, this Friday will be a great release!

This also means that this is the last week that you can pre-order the game for $30. After the release the price will go up, so head on over to the store and order a copy today!

Well Collateral Damage: The Anime Board Game launched with great success at Reactor in Wheeling, IL. We ran several demos and had a lot of people buy the game, and even more stop by our table to chat or say how much they liked it. It was very positive, and I hope that we continue to have success like this at our upcoming conventions. We’ll be posting a calendar soon with our planned schedule for 2008.

Special thanks go out to the groups of people who were playing Collateral Damage in the lobby Friday and Saturday night. A big special thanks also goes out to Nick, who liked the game so much that he helped us out at the table, bringing over other people to see it and being one of our biggest advocates. You rock! Your support is what made Collateral Damage possible.

We also had a booth at Con on the Cob in Akron, OH. This was also a success, and we got several people interested in the game, one from as far as Israel! We were also interviewed for a podcast, and we’ll announce that as soon as it’s up.

Thanks again to everyone who has supported us! We look forward to keeping you informed on the web site, and at more conventions in 2008.

Gozer Games will be at Anime Boston 2008, running from Friday, March 21 through Sunday, March 23. We will be running demos on Friday night at 8:00 pm and Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm. Come stop by our booth in the dealer room (booth 422) or in the gaming room for free extras!

We are very pleased to announce that we have US distribution through Alliance Game Distributors! This was one of our goals for 2008, and we’re very glad to be teamed with them. This means that come August 14, you will be able to see Collateral Damage in your local game or hobby store. Gozer Games will be at Anime Central this weekend, May 16-18 in Rosemont, IL. We will be running demos at our booth all day, and in the game room at 7:00 pm on Friday and 2:00 pm on Saturday. Please stop by if you will be there. ACen is a special convention for us, as that is where we found the fantastic artist for Collateral Damage, the very talented Shannon Townsend.
